Another Thursday, another Peabody Rooftop Party! This time it was a Texas Cowboy themed food and beer night, with Party Planet rocking all genres of music. When I arrived around 7:30, the band was already well into their first set, and everyone was already raving. After a few songs, I could see why! Playing music from the 60's and 70's to Beyonce and everything in between, there was something for everyone to dance to.
Alternating between the inside ballroom and VIP area, I got my fill of brisket, beans, & barbecue, plus samples of Shiner Bock and Miller Lite! Then my friend Frank and I hit the dance floor to work some of it off. We danced to Shake Your Booty then a medley of Lady Gaga hits. After another hour or so of party songs, they closed with, what else, but a Kool and the Gang song! Another fun Thursday night up on the roof!
